True innovation in religious rhetoric: she talks about God hugging us. We would think at most Jesus would do such a thing. Yet we all believe in the Holy Trinity, so that Jesus is God hugging us. She reports having had an experience with Jesus, that she said his name and he came to embrace her and was with her like that for hours and she then asked Jesus for him to never let her go. Through her song, she hopes to get us to share the sensation of receiving that hug, of feeling his holy arms transmitting ethereal peace to our entire being, a communion with heaven.
A physical sensation that is, at the same time, spiritual, a physical function for God: It is the first time I hear a preacher talking in these terms and it sounds great.
In the entire Bible, God was physical: He appears in the sky, in between the clouds, as a physical image to speak to His 'chosen ones'. He made Adam at His image, so that God was seen in the sky back then as an Adam, so in human shape on the face we could see from earth. Where did it all get lost, that now all we have is the Holy Ghost?
It is probably the case that we are simply not getting told about the so many physical appearances of God...Perhaps there is nobody who bothered for real so far.
Her music and singing, and even that of the male who sings Your Annointing with her are indeed from another dimension: all does indeed give peace to those who listen and does indeed lead to cleansing of the body, heart and soul.
